I liked this picture because of the vast difference between the orange glow of the lava and the misty blue/grey of the water. The photo's contrast really stood out to me. I tend to enjoy photos with more contrast because of how captivating colors and shadowing. To me the contrast really captures the attention of anyone who would otherwise overlook a photo. Another thing that I like is the movement in the picture. The lava is flowing, the swirls in the rock made by the lava cooling in hardening in the water, the waves are crashing against the rock... It just makes a really awesome image.
The difference in color between the lava and water is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteAlthough I hate lava, the brightness of it looks amazing against the blue. Your eyes are instantly drawn to that and it really stands out.
